Join us on an enchanting cruise along the Seine, one of Europe’s most beautiful rivers. We depart from Paris and cruise through Normandy on a captivating journey through landscapes that have inspired countless artists and poets through the centuries. 

And no cruise along the Seine would be complete without a visit to the stunning Monet gardens at Giverny and Honfleur, a charming port town renowned for its picturesque Old Harbour and quaint, narrow houses. 

Our outstanding opera singers and onboard string quartet will entertain us every evening throughout this fantastic holiday. And, of course, guests will be able to sing too and join our TA choir rehearsals along the way.

Itinerary

Passengers are welcome to board the ship at 6.00 pm. After you have comfortably settled into your cabin, we will enjoy a welcome cocktail and meet the crew. The ship sets sail during the night.

No cruise down the Seine would be complete without a visit to the stunning Monet Gardens at Giverny, and today, we spend the morning exploring this beautiful venue. Performance: Our onboard soloists entertain

Join us for one of two optional excursions, including the Mémorial de Caen, the largest museum in France dedicated to 20th-century history, commemorating World War II, D-Day, and the Battle of Normandy.
From here, we visit Sword Beach, the easternmost beach of the five landing areas of the Normandy Invasion of World War II.
Our second optional excursion is a visit to the Manoir d’Apreval, a family run estate specialising in producing apples, pears, organic cider and Calvados.

This morning, we sail towards Paris. We will cruise past the impressive concrete and glass buildings of the futuristic business district of La Defense, reaching Paris mid-afternoon. We will have a panoramic bus tour of Paris, exploring famous landmarks, and an opportunity to explore this wonderful city on foot. This evening, we will cruise through the city to see Paris by night! Giverny

Giverny, a picturesque village in Normandy, France, is world-renowned for Monet’s Garden, the inspiration for many of Claude Monet’s masterpieces. Visitors can explore the beautifully restored gardens, divided into two main parts: the Clos Normand flower garden and the tranquil Japanese-inspired Water Garden. Stroll through vibrant flower beds, arched trellises, and the iconic lily pond, complete with the famous Japanese bridge draped in wisteria. The house itself, where Monet lived and worked, is filled with the artist’s personal belongings and Japanese prints. A visit to Monet’s Garden offers an enchanting glimpse into the world of one of the most celebrated Impressionist painters.

Honfleur

Honfleur is a charming port town in Normandy, France. Known for its enchanting Vieux Bassin (Old Harbour), Honfleur features narrow, slate-covered houses that reflect in the tranquil waters. Stroll along the cobblestone streets and explore the bustling markets, art galleries, and quaint cafes. The town is also home to the stunning Saint Catherine’s Church, the largest wooden church in France, built by local shipbuilders. Honfleur has inspired many artists, including Monet and Boudin, making it a cultural haven.

Rouen

Rouen, the historic capital of Normandy, France, is a city rich in medieval charm and cultural significance. Known as the “City of a Hundred Spires,” Rouen is home to the magnificent Rouen Cathedral, a Gothic masterpiece famously painted by Claude Monet. Wander through the cobblestone streets of the old town, lined with half-timbered houses and vibrant market squares. Visit the historic Gros-Horloge, an astronomical clock dating back to the 14th century, and the Place du Vieux-Marché, where Joan of Arc was martyred.

Paris

Paris, the enchanting capital of France, is a city of timeless beauty and cultural richness. Known as the “City of Light,” Paris is home to iconic landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower, Notre-Dame Cathedral, and the Louvre Museum, which houses the Mona Lisa. Stroll along the elegant Champs-Élysées and explore the historic Marais district with its charming boutiques and cafes. Montmartre, the bohemian heart of Paris, is where you can find the Basilica of the Sacré-Cœur, offering stunning city views and the lively Place du Tertre bustles with artists.
