Passengers will make their way to Venice and then be transferred by coach to Mantua to board the ship from 6 pm. After you have settled into your cabin, we will introduce the crew at a welcome cocktail reception followed by dinner. Performance: Our onboard soloists entertain

The cruise cost includes a day trip by bus to the beautiful historic town of Sirmione at Lake Garda. The journey takes around 1 hour 45 minutes. Lake Garda, known as Lago di Garda in Italian, is Italy’s largest lake between Lombardy, Veneto, and Trentino. It is renowned for its crystal-clear waters, the surrounding Alps, and hills adorned with vineyards.
We set sail to Valdaro in the evening.

This morning, we depart Rovigo by coach to Verona, the City of Love made famous by Shakespeare’s tragedy Romeo and Juliet. We will visit Juliet’s house to see the balcony where she stood when Romeo declared his love. Verona encapsulates 2,000 years of history, and the amphitheatre, the city’s historic symbol, is a fantastic example of its longevity and influence. We return to the ship in Ostiglia and spend the afternoon cruising. Performance: Our onboard soloists entertain

We spend the morning cruising. This afternoon, we have a guided tour of Padua, the home of Saint Anthony. The city surrounds its medieval centre with charming squares and palaces. The Basilica of Saint Anthony of Padua attracts pilgrims from around the world and holds the relics of Saint Anthony, the city’s patron saint.

A highlight of the cruise is the arrival in Venice, the “City of Canals.” This legendary city, built on over 100 small islands in a lagoon in the Adriatic Sea, is known for its stunning architecture, rich history, and romantic ambience. As the cruise approaches Venice, the iconic sights of the Doge’s Palace, St. Mark’s Basilica, and the Grand Canal unfold in a breathtaking panorama. We will take a guided tour around Venice ending in St Mark’s square, before an opportunity to visit Doge’s Palace and The Bridge of Sighs. Performance: Our onboard soloists entertain

This morning, we will cruise across the Venetian lagoon to the island of Mazzorbo, which is connected by a pedestrian bridge to the charming island of Burano.
Enjoy some free time to explore Burano - known for its traditional lacemaking and picture-perfect homes or join our optional excursion to the neighbouring island of Murano to visit a glass blowing workshop. We will return to Venice this evening for our Gala dinner.
