Financial protection and travel insurance

How your money is protected when you book with us, and why you must take out travel insurance for every holiday.

How your money is protected

Theatrical Adventures Ltd holds Financial Failure Insurance administered by TMU Management Limited and underwritten by Accelerant Insurance Europe SA/NV UK Branch, which refunds your payments and, where transport is included in your package, covers your repatriation should we become insolvent.

The policy is administered by TMU Management Limited, an Appointed Representative (FRN 968471) of Bluefriars Brokers Limited, authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FRN 604987), and underwritten by Accelerant Insurance Europe SA/NV UK Branch, Lodge Park Business Centre, Lodge Lane, Langham, Colchester, CO4 5NE. Reference AGB2500065. Current policy period: 1 August 2026 to 31 July 2027. Sum insured: £250,000.

It covers principal insolvency, supplier insolvency, repatriation expenses — in plain terms: if Theatrical Adventures Ltd were to fail, the money you have paid is refunded, and if you are already on holiday and transport home is part of your package, the cost of getting you home is met.

After each payment you make to us, TMU Management Limited will email you directly with confirmation of your cover and the steps to follow should you ever need to claim.

We do not sell flights, so our holidays are not covered by the ATOL scheme and do not need to be. Where you choose to book your own flights or travel to the ship, those arrangements are separate from your package with us.

Travel insurance — a condition of booking

You must have travel insurance in place for every holiday you take with us; it is a condition of our Booking Conditions (section F.3). We recommend arranging it as soon as you book so that any deposit you have paid is protected.

•

Cancellation and curtailment cover at least equal to the full price of your holiday.

•

Medical expenses and repatriation, including cover for any pre-existing conditions you have declared to the insurer.

•

Cover for cruises specifically — some policies exclude them or charge an extra premium.

•

Personal belongings, money and travel documents.

•

If you are travelling from outside the UK, equivalent cover from an insurer in your country.

Please send us a copy of your certificate or your policy details before you travel (Booking Conditions F.3.3). A UK Global Health Insurance Card is useful in Europe but is not a substitute for insurance.
